Oporto – Autumn Summer in November

Summer is long gone, but it seems that the nice sunny weather will last for longer in Oporto. According to several weather websites, including Accuweather, it seems that we are up for a sunny November month with mild temperatures and few rain. Clearly, the best weather to visit this historical town and enjoy some of its beautiful landscapes and monuments 🙂 🙂

Air Canada flies to Oporto

Air Canada announced that will soon have direct flights between Toronto and Oporto starting from the 8th June 2018. According to agency Presstur, there will be four flights a weeks (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) and the plane of choice to cross the Atlantic will be the Boeing B767.

Additionally, Air Canada is also planning to establish direct connections to Lisbon and other european cities during summer 2018!!

This is definitely great news for Canadian tourists that want to visit Oporto, as they are now much closer than before!!!

Oporto book stock fair – October 2017

For those of you visiting Oporto and/or staying at the Oporto Sunset Blue Balcony flat during the month of October, there is the opportunity to visit the Oporto book stock fair. This fair will take place between the 3rd and the 25th of October in Pavillion Rosa Mota and it will be open from 10am until 8pm. This event is a great opportunity to buy old books at cheap prices!!

The 2017 edition is dedicated to Pablo Neruda and features special events on saturdays between 15h00 and 17h00.

If you are into literature, this is an opportunity you should not miss 🙂 🙂
