Trengo – Oporto Circus Fest

The Trengo – Oporto Circus Festival will take place between the 30th June and 8th July in several locations in Oporto. This is a free fest with several performances scheduled for typical spots, such as: Jardim Paulo Vallada, Quinta do Covelo or the Rivoli theatre. This event is sponsored by the Oporto City Council and features 16 performances, with 11 being national and the remaining 5 international.

Fantasporto 2018

The 38th edition of the Oporto International Film Festival will take place between the 20th February and 4th March 2018. This year’s edition is expected to be one of the biggest so far and should include productions from all continents. The festival will happen in Rivoli theatre, in downtown Oporto, and has been considered sometime ago, as one of the 10 film festivals you must attend during your life.

The 2018 edition adopted the theme “Ethics- The boundaries of Science, Arts and the Cinema” with films, debates and presentations focussing on this particular issue, which is considered very relevant nowadays.

Open birthday – Rivoli Theatre

On the 20th January 2018, next saturday, the Rivoli theatre will celebrate its 86th birthday with a fantastic selection of music, dance, theatre and much more. From the early hours of Saturday until late in the night, there will be plenty of initiatives to keep you busy and interested. Anyone can enter for free in this celebration and tickets can be collected the same day (maximum two tickets per person).
