The Oporto Food Festival sponsored by the supermarket chain Continente will take place in the City Park between the 7th and the 8th July 2018. This fest is free and anyone can participate in the several activities available. It is a family oriented festival that attempts to promote sports and healthy eating.
There will be plenty of show cookings performed by several renowned chefs (mostly portuguese), such as: Hélio Loureiro, Manuel Almeida, Justa Nobre, Rui Paula, Chakall and Anna Lins. There will also be plenty of concerts with Portuguese bands and singers, such as: Tony Carreira, Diogo Piçarra, David Carreira, Xutos & Pontapés, HMB and Mundo de Sara. Additionally, there will also be a small football village with 10 football fields, sponsored by the Portuguese Football Federation.
Overall, food, music and sports in the same location providing an interesting option for those that want to have a good time. If you are in Oporto during this weekend, this is surely an opportunity you cannot miss … 🙂 🙂
