Klein comes to Oporto – 19th May 2018

The UK singer Klein is going to be in Rivoli theatre in Oporto on the 19th May 2018. The show starts at 22h30 and is focusing on her last work from 2017.

Klein is a Nigerian artist that lives in South London and has an unique music style that combines several experimental sounds and R&R.

United Airlines flies to Oporto

For the first time, United Airlines established a regular route between Oporto and New York starting from the 5th May 2018. The third biggest carrier in the world decided to start a daily connection between Oporto and Newark airport. Each flight will take approximately 7 hours and will be done in a Boeing 757 with a maximum capacity of 196 seats, being 16 in executive class. Landing in Oporto will happen at 9h45 and take off is scheduled for 12h35.

This new connection will strengthen the Oporto’s ability to receive american tourists, as for the moment, TAP only has two flights a week to and from the US. Clearly good news …

The 2018 version of the North Music Festival will take place in Oporto between the 25th and 26th May. 21st April – Miguel Bombarda Art exhibitions

17 new art exhibits will be presented for the first time in Oporto on the 21st April 2018. This new set of fresh art will be available simultaneously in the most famous art block of Oporto: Rua Miguel Bombarda. In lines similar to previous editions, this event will be sponsored and promoted by the Oporto City Council, via PortoLazer. Photo Ark in Oporto until April 2018

One of the most world renowned projects promoted by a National Geographic photographer, the Photo Ark, will be in Oporto until the end of April 2018. This is an initiative created by Joel Sartore that tries to call people’s attention towards the need of saving some of the planet’s most endangered animal species. In order to achieve that, Joel Sartore created a photo exhibit with a short-list of 40 endangered species. World Spine 8 – Oporto

The 8th edition of the World Spine Conference will take place in Oporto between the 15th and the 18th April 2018.
